Yes if you are in the USA, CAN or AUS. This remote being from the US, it should use a 315MHz carrier frequency for the communication between the remote and the car, which is the frequency for those countries. In EUR the remotes work at 433MHz, so you can not use a EUR remote on a US car or vice versa.
