Just bought a 355 spider and was wondering if the windshield frame is sufficient in a roll over.

Noticed the 360 spiders have roll bars - why not the 355?

    thanks

No doubt the screen rail is tested for roll over strength to meet regs. But i doubt very much it would save one head from suffering damage in event of a rollover.
At a guess i would say that a rollover bar set up would have spoiled the 355 spider lines, so ruled out. I think if it was made today the 355 may use a form of spring up system like the Gallardo, as to hide the apparatus and keep the beautiful lines.

Assume (as do all track day organizers do) that the cars only roll over protection is its wide track width and low center of gravity. Enjoy the car, it is likely one of the least likey cars to roll over.
