My new (to me) 355 spider has some sagging leather on the lower part of the dash and the door cards. Does anyone know how to remove these parts in order to tighten it up and re-glue it? The leather itself is in good condition (although surprisingly thin). Also, the lower parts of the doors are slightly mis aligned so that the trailing edges of the lower panels are not completely flush with the sills and read 3/4 panel. If looks like there are a couple of bolts on the underside, is this the way to re-align them is it more involved? The upper door panels and the rest of the panels are all aligned properly. Thank you.
Loosening the door scoop attachment bolts will allow you to move around the scoop panel and adjust its fit to the sill and surrounding panels. Just make sure you loosen all of them before making any adjustments.
