    Went to drive my 355 spider this weekend and noticed that the pinninfarina emblem in front of the left rear tire was missing the insert. Looks like the glue gave up and it must have fallen out on my last cruise. Does anyone know what this emblem is held in with? I ordered a replacement but it appears that it has a retainer on the back side. If it has a retainer on the back side what do I have to remove to get to it?

    The emblems on mine have smooth stand offs and are retained by (not sure of exact term) internally toothed washers. (installed by just pushing onto stand offs).

    I don't know if there is a correct procedure to remove them but on other cars I have been successful by working them off with a small pick.

    You can access it by removing the wheel/tire and front section of inner fender housing.
