Hi Everybody and happy new year.

I am looking to replace the sill trims on my '98 355, the passenger side is cracked and rusted slightly.

i have read about the carbon replacements and wonder where the best place to source them is ?

So far i have seen this company :http://www.prosport-ferrari.com/AfterMarket.aspx

has anybody any experience with these particular trims ?

I don' want a pair that look cheap, and it is difficult to tell from a picture on the web if you know what i mean.

    Many Thanks

    Anthony

It is a common thing on the 355 for those to start rusting, it is pretty easy to make them yourself, carbon fibre is easy to cut and smooth the edges, basically all you want to do is get the dimensions and I can recomend someone in Wales that I have used several times with a quick turnaround, they will supply you with a piece of carbon fibre sheeting of whatever thickness you require then use a Dremel to cut and fine wet & dry to shape it, I would say they would be a lot cheaper than buying them specific for your car, alternatively with a paper template they would cut it for you.

    here is their ebay shop
