Any decent roll bars out there without cutting and hacking the interior? All local tracks and sanctions will not even allow hoops for convertibles. I realize that the Berlinetta is a more suited track car with a stiffer chasis and is lighter, but forthe 2-3 track days I am going to do per year, I love the open feel of my convertible.

What do you guys with Spiders do for track days?

    Hi All:

Talk about reviving an old thread... Does anyone know if/where there a roll bar(s) hoops for an F355 Spyder? Gentlemen wants to run his Spyder at our track days but we can't let him in without some rollover protection.

Take the Porsche. But seriously, I have been refused with my spider a few times except for "touring" laps which are strictly controlled. I would be interested myself if anything becomes available.

As a racer who has been punted offtrack in a Ferrari racecar into a wall and flipped over while minding my own business...

racetrack + street 355 spyder = silly poor judgement

Ouch, S**t happens on the track better safe than sorry. Convertibles without cages are just scary.

Thats true, at Pocono doing a track day in July i saw the Lifestar Helicopter come for a cycle rider in the track next to us. Corner worker said it comes all to often when they have bike events.

I think you can still run at Laguna track day's without a roll bar. I did it a couple of years ago no problem. Could not run at Buttonwillow or Thunderhill though.

I have not checked lately as I have a coupe I run now.
