Seems like the foam in my spider cover is now totally turned to dust.

Is there anyone in the UK who can repair this?

The only other real solution I have read is to cut the backing material off and just have it like that.

    Is that a good idea?

where you based? Id call The Ferrari Centre or talk to a car trimner.

I would get it fixed properly, which is probably unstitching , replacing the foam snd sewing it back up.

Same thing happened to my cover 10-years ago. The remedy was to unstitch it in its entirety, vacuum out the dust and restitch.

My fix was to just keep driving it, after a winter in storage I just put the cover back on and took it up to 100mph with no dust. When I first bought the car it sat for two years with the previous owner. When I first drove it at speed I was blinded!

Thanks all I am in Lancashire. I tried a couple of local places last year but none were interested. I might look to try something DIY if I cant get anywhere local I will try my indy and see if they know anyone.

You could try hitting up a dust repellent spray on your current cover to see if it helps with the issue. Just a thought!

I had (have) the same issue with my cover. I routinely vacuum it and it is almost unnoticeable now. Every spring I hit it with leather conditioner and a good dose of vacuuming.
