So I'm looking at and old issue of Forza magazine from 2000 the other night and reading an article on the last 100 355 spider fiorano's.

They showed photos of the detailing in the cars which was different from the other cars like the carbon fiber, steering wheel, door sills, etc.

The small photos also showed a luggage set that looked quite a bit different from the normal luggage for the F355 from schedoni.

I thought it was a cool discovery. I'll take a photo of the magazine when I get back home and post it here.

I'll be meeting with Schedoni the first week in April and will inquire about any special edition luggage for the fiorano that we may not be aware of or if there was a change of plans from the brochures to reality.

Hopefully I can get ahold of cool facts and old photos from them to share.

Any 355 spider Fiorano owners aware of this special edition luggage that looks different from the other luggage?

I am aware of such luggage. It is different, I know because I have a set.

Brizzle - that would be great if you can post some pictures.

Do you have the original window sticker? I'd be interested in seeing it outlined with the cost since yours came with it - or was the luggage included as a standard option?

So here is the photo I took from the article in Forza magazine.

You can see that the three piece luggage set resembles more the style of the 550 Maranello luggage with the creases and slants. The standard luggage for the F355 was more classic.

    Both types beautiful.

I was unaware that the FIORANO had special luggage so it was a cool discovery for me and hopefully those that love all the unique facts about our cars.

I met with Mr. Schedoni at his factory in Modena last week. Great time and history.

They keep production records for ALL of their luggage manufactured.

So it turns out that only 4 sets of luggage were manufactured for the F355 fiorano.

    You heard me. 4.

One of those 4 sets was done in navy blue to match a car's interior. The rest cuoio. These luggage sets were optional on the cars - not standard. I am guessing that the dealers ordered all 100 cars knowing they would sell as limited editions, but passed on the luggage to keep costs down.

So if you have a set of special luggage for your F355 fiorano - let's see some photos... They are very rare indeed.
