There's no OEM roll-over protection in a 355 spider, is there?

    you mean, besides your skull?

    no.

i'm not even sure the A pillar is particularly reinforced.

the REALLY good news is that it's quite a bit of work to roll the car since its center of gravity is so damn low. not that it can't be done, of course.

some folks have put roll cages into their 355 spiders. on the OLD board i remember some pictures posted. it was less than attractive imnsho.

I haven't heard of any roll-over protection for 348/355 spiders but I donknow that Ferrari strengthened the chassis around its door areas to reduce the torsional flex so often associated with roadsters and heavily reinforced the windscreen pillars to act as protection for occupants in the unfortunate event of them rolling the car.
