Firstly i know there is another thread regarding roof issues, but was just looking for some advice regarding my problem! Up until now my roof has been faultless... I tried dropping the roof when the sun was out last weekend and the roof god stuck half way because the bar (9 inches) behind the main clip was not retracting. I had to kneel in the drivers seat facing backwards and help it retract backwards, once i had done this the roof retracted perfectly and the seats returned to the correct position. I have been told and read, that having new elastic bands on either side of the roof will retract this bar and the problem will be solved? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Harry.
