    my top on my 95 355 spider dosnt fit i guess its shrunk over the years
    any idea what i can do to make it stretch i tried putting in the sun all day
    didnt do anything?????im scared to call ferrari to see how much the new one
    is if they even make them anymore????im talking about the boot i guess you call it the cover that goes on top of the convertable top when its down
    any ideas????thx in advance...............

    Hello, should not be a problem. My leather boot is always difficult to install initially. Very, very tight. Once installed the leather stretches and the boot actually settles somewhat lose. Can you install the boot by careful stretching? If not, try hanging the boot cover under tension. Not in the sun, the sun tends to shrink the leather, as seen in 355 dash covers. My understand is a new cover is $1400.00 from Ferrari. Good luck, John.

    when I first got mine, it was the same.

    I hand rubbed a bunch of LEXOL leather conditioner and then kept it inside a garbage baq for about a week. The leather came out a lot better and I still do this occasionally. I also keep it inside the house when not in use.
