I was hoping you could give some input. I have looked at many threads and the problem seems to be going in the down position, not up. My top goes down fine, fast and accurate. When putting the top up the seats move forward smoothly and stop in the forward position. Once the seats are all of the way forward the top motor winds up and the top moves maybe 1/8", then everything stops and a fast beeping starts. The top does not go up. If I put the top button in the "top down" position the top sinches down and the seats go back to the start position. I have checked and thej resivor fluid is full. The emergency switch will put the top up. Any suggestions?
It sounds like either a limit switch for the top or one of the potentiometers under the seats is out of tolerance.... Needs to be diagnosed... I dont have the diagram at home but you need one of the top ecu as it is located behind the center rear trim panel next to the pump. Scott
