I took the drivers seat out to have the leather done, when i refitted it i must have put it out of sync as when i operate the roof switch the seats go all the way forward but roof doesn't move, i then have to use emergency switch to finish opening it. Does any one know the reprogramming sequence to reset roof? Thanks in advance.

You need to use the SD2 to calibrate the seat potentiometers. You'll have to take it to the shop for that

I was just thinking about this. I'm using leatherique on my seats right now, and wanted to take them out, but since I have a Spider, I'm afraid I'll cause problems if I pull the seats.

I moved the seat along the runners when it was out, I think you would be ok so long as you don't make the same mistake.

Use a car battery and two leads. Connect them to the seat motor - change them round and the seat goes the opposite way. You have to move the runners in order to get at all the bolts that hold them on to the seat. As long as you put the runners back on the seats the exact way they came off you will have no problems. ie dont use any more power to the motor once it is off the seat! Also make sure you get the hex allen drive right into the bolt head. They are tight and if the hex drive slips out you will round off the hex part of the bolt and end up having to drill off the head etc
