OK 355 spyder owners, please give me your opinion. I like 355 Spyders, but I am not a fan of all the leather that is exposed in the back when the top is down. So I got to talking to a guy in Monterey that makes special Ferrari parts. We were thinking about making a fiberglass or carbon piece that you could paint body color to replace the leather top cover when the top is down. We talked about making it 1, 2, or 3 pieces so it would be easy to store. Does anyone like this idea? Would you want to buy one if we did the tooling and made some? Thanks for your input. Rick
Better yet, have him make something that is made out of a durable piece of breathable cloth like a car cover that only fits over the two rear pieces, over the cockpit and down over the windshield. Been looking for something like this but haven't found it yet.

I have someone who makes covers from scratch. If we get enough interest it may make sense for me to have him make a number of them and we can just split the cost. If i knew the people interested I could then ask and get us a cost.
