    Well I pulled it out today and it's leaking worse than the Exxon Valdez. I'm talking about the steering rack on my beloved 355 spider just to clarify. I need a quality rebuilder. Anyone have a suggestion? I heard there was a place in California than did a great job for a resonable fee. Any direction would be greatly appreciated as the FNA piece is like 2k plus. Also just want to tell you all...This thing was a bloodly whore to get out...I was almost ready to get out my torches and the nose off the car for better access. Lucky thing I had a large cold Foster's to calm me nerves. thanks Pete

    I don't know how the "power steering" aspect factors in for 355's, but for 348's a new 348 steering rack from Randy at Conti was around $700.00, and Reyes Alternators in Orange, Ca said they could rebuild 348 steering racks for $170.00.

    Their number is 714-633-4208. The owners name is Leonardo Reyes.

    Daniel at Ricambi recommended Atlantic Enterprises in Longs,SC. I just got off the phone with them. They will do a full rebuild on the stock unit for $347. They do all the work for Lamborghini USA and Bromos Porsche race team. Great deal. Anyway I'm still trying to get this dam thing out. Do the tie rod ends need to be taken off before taking out the rack? This thing is a *****....cya Pete
