I searched, cannot find a source.

Does anyone know of a place where I can buy a seal kit for the 355 steering rack?:

    Thanks

Can't take it apart and take the old seals into a seal shop and match them up?

If don't damage taking them out of course. Most seals have part numbers on them, depending on the size you may need a magnifying glass.

I have rebuilt many racks and only a few times I needed to take the seals in to match them.

Kinda sux as it takes you longer trying to remove the seals without damaging them so you can match them up size wise in the even you can't see the part number on the seal.

Our local SKF agent does seals, there is not a seal that they can't supply.

I am 10% into this job and I don't know if I want to go all the way. There are several Teflon rings and rubber orings at the tower that should be replaced if they are removed. Unless I can find a kit, and I cannot as of today, I don't think I want to disassemble the whole thing.

There is also a press-on metal cap at the bottom of the tower that I have not figured out how it comes out yet. There is always the "weld a nut on, screw a bolt in, and use a slide hammer" approach, but ....
