I know most of us 355 owners have no love lost for the overly large and unattractive steering wheel. Has anyone had success in replacing it with a smaller air bag model such as that on a 360 or CS? Are the CPU's airbag sensors compatible? Any help greatly appreciated.

Imola had it done on there f355 the wheel is like 1,500 and the air bag is like 2,500 ferraripartsexchange sells the wheel the airbag you would have to go threw the dealership to get it or call parts places it will cost you aton of money hope this helps you.

Yeah, that 355 wheel stinks. I really hate mine. The 360 wheel looks like the way a ferrari wheel should. I looked into the cost of going to a 360 wheel, then decided to put the money towards the whole 360 car. Only $30k to go!

Many thanks. I understand the wheel fits, but the software is the issue, and testing it would be the only way. I'm probably going to go for it.

I like the large horse in the middle too. The wheel's diameter, however, is just too much.

so are you putting on 360 cs wheel or a momo wheel by the way momo makes the 360 cs wheel they just like to charge more for it but I was not sure which way you are taking the cheap way or the high price way. ha ha would love to see some body do the 360 cs way besides the imola f355. most f355 owners will spend the money.

I'm going the CS way - cooler wheel - and will try to source it from someone other than Ferrari which wants close to $6K w/airbag.

I like the 355 wheel but the 360 does look good also.

What does it take to fit it in? Airbag issues? Costs?

I beleive it to be about $2500 to got with the 360 wheel. The imola is around $2000 both w/ air bags.

Unfortunately a lot of ferrari guys don't get the importamce of the 355 as, besides IMHO being the most beautiful Ferrari since the Boxer, it is the true bridge between the 60's classics and todays 599.
I am replacing every interior trim piece I can with carbon fibre - check out www.valence.com they have some fantastic stuff.
Thanks to madturk for the photo. I will post photos once project is done.
Many thanks for all the help.
