    One I have now looks like it was primered, then car was painted red for example and red overspray on the subframe then subframe was painted black last. Made no sense. I have a second one in the back yard I will look at but I remember it was about the same as where it attached to the body it was not painted. Looks like it was assembled then painted.

    Yes, my 95 has a few scratches and it's red below.....

    I might paint mine once the motor comes out - what the hell - every other part will be off :)

    I powdercoated mine black but thinking of doing it again white or yellow to match the car. tubes look great in a light color just not too happy with the way black looks

    A guy up in Baldwin Park cant remember his name but friend of my buss partner, there's a guy in HB with a big oven also that does them and I think a better job. Its matte black

    Bent it lifting it, they are like aluminum foil, hammer and a block of wood much better then new :)

    Yes thats the one, they are very flimsy. One is bolted in the front and the rear to space the frame rails EDIT duh yes thats the rear one, I have too much crap here

    They are rectangular tubes, yes?

    The first car I had PPI'd had that bent as well.

    Yes 200x25 mm square tube very thin wall, about same as exhaust pipes :)
