You will find that 355 owners are very secure and comfortable in our own skins;)
They dont constantly feel like they have to paddel against the current to prove them selfs, unlike 348 owners.
I remember well how 348 owners cryed like little *****es when several threads were talking about what the ferrari presedent said time and time again about the carbunkle that was the 348;)
That should help the thread move along nicley:D

I'm well into the ownership of my second 348 and I can't get enough! Winter is around the corner and temps have dipped but the top still goes down (although I'm not as faithful at putting the boot on).

I'm looking to add a second lady to my garage in the next month or two and I was wondering about a 355 and said nah. Not a bad car mind you, but I just don't see that much difference in the two. Thought about getting a 430 but can't afford it without getting rid of my 348 so I doubt I'll do it. Only thing left is to consider a 360 and keep my 348.

I never want to get rid of the 348. It is the best (not newest & certainly not the most expensive) car I've ever owned. That's the God's honest truth.

IMHO ...and I think the other brothers would agree, the only way to upgrade from a 348 is graduate right into a 360 or 430. Am I right fellas?

"but I just don't see that much difference in the two"

"see" is the operative word here! The 355 is a quantum leap better than a 348 in every department. I had a 348 for 3 years, it was a Ferrari and in that respect I was happy with it but because of its shortcomings it didnt ever really do it for me in the way I had hoped. The 355 makes me smile every time I drive it. With the 348 it was denial!

So insecure in your 348 you had to put 360 wheels on it.....

Anyone put 348 wheels on your 355? Anyone? No?

No because, guess what? Yes, youve got it - 348 wheels are heavier than 355s! I'll add that to the list.....!

So with 348s, some owners use.
355 wheels, 360 wheels, 355 rear lights, and more than a few even use 355 bumpers and side scoops ect.
Has anyone ever heard of a 355 using parts/gear from a 348? Or parts from any other model ferrari to enhance the look of a 355 at all?

Except one: there was no real reason to add power steering.
