SUSPENSION TROUBLE LIGHT ON? DRIVING WITH THIS ON WILL IT DAMAGE ANYTHING? CAME ON ABOUT 30 MILES AGO AND HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY RIDE CHANGE. HOW SHOULD I GO ABOUT TROUBLE SHOOTING? I KNOW OF THE EXPENSE OF NEW SHOCKS AND ACTUATORS. CAN I DRIVE WITH IT ON AND NOT WORRY UNLESS GOING OVER 100MPH?

The actuators themselves are not necessarily the problem. Could be as simple the little gear that goes inside of them (which of course, I have in stock!), or all sorts of other things. Here is a quick shot from the WSM about system diagnosis.

I've got a funny story relating to this.

I was toying with the idea of installing a subwoofer in the front trunk. I took the 355 to Best Buys and they had a free standing 12" sub that they dropped in the car so I could hear what it sounded like.

The guy turned it WAY up (sounded like crap) and my suspension warning light went on! Immediately went off after he turned the box down. God knows what all that sound pressure was doing to the sensors!

The two sensors that the suspension ECU uses for yaw and pitch are on the frt panel of the trunk. I'm sure the sensors were being interfered with by all that racket from the woofer. Anyway we don't need no stinkin' stereos in the 355s anyway the music is sittin' right behind you. LOL. Regards, Vern
