I'm sure you've made the right decision to flatbed it right to your shop (if possible) from all the foregoing comments. Here's my story to cap things off. I bought my F355 based on the major having been done 4,000 km prior with invoiced statement (I bought with 58,500 km) Soon after my first oil change, I noticed a camshaft seal leak. I decided to do the major again! Amongst other service deficiencies and water pump not replaced/rebuilt, discovered one of the timing belt tensioner bearings was completely seized! I considered myself very lucky. Just make sure you find yourself a reliable shop. Good luck.

...well it's a done deal now.

I'm having the belts changed in Chicago as part of the purchase then shipping the car to the border and driving it home. I'll get the car September 1. 2 years looking for the right car, I guess I can wait another 6 weeks.

Just need something to occupy my time...now where'd that boob thread go....

    Well,

Unfortunately some really stuffy folks have canned the boob thread! I'm starting to wonder about the powers at be. It is TOTAL horsesh!t to say the least.

Don't worry I don't think the 348/355's guys are gonna roll over on this one.

I also expect a boob or two from now on everywhere ban or no ban from various members.....
