    It seems to be an ok shop, and from what ive heard, the only dyno on the island. These things happen. Ill try again.

    Wrong gear. When you go back do it in 5th gear this is the closest gear to 1:1 and should be the most efficient gear.

    As to tire pressure: I recommend 41 PSI same as hot tires on the track.

    I have a DynoJet 248 and have never seen the type of problem you are describing. I do know that obtaining the RPM signal can be a pain. However, when there is no RPM recorded during the run it will still record the horsepower. I have gotten around the RPM signal problem by purchasing their optical RPM sensor. This device allows you to record directly off the crank pulley and is extremely accurate and has never failed.

    One other thing to look at is the version of their software. I started out with WinPEP version 6.03 and recently upgraded to WinPEP version 7. Both of these are Windows based. DynoJet originally ran a DOS based version of their software. I was told that these versions had problems and are no longer supported.

    I dont have the proper program to load the video onto the computer.
