    Can anyone advise - is the 348 tool kit identical to the 355? If not, can someone please post pics of the 348 tool kit.

    Jeff - This may sound crazy...but when you open up the tool kit what is the stacking order of the trays? The trays have different edges and I can never figure out what is the original order. The belt tray is flat, the open end wrench tray has 2 tall side rails, and the tow bar tray is 4 little squares on each corner...?

    The ones that come to the US have a shelf life of only one year (according to the date on my can). I replaced mine with a new one from a parts store, but keep the original can for when I do concours.

    Has anybody ever dared to use one of those belts that come with the toolkit? Wouldn't trust one to hold up my trousers :)

    Hi Vegas1...

    Unfortunately we do not have the 348 kit to compare against but the image in the parts book looks very close indeed.

    Come to think of it, there is a flat, sideopening 348 kit too....something similar to this one......

    FL355...

    I think it was top to bottom.....screwdrivers, belt, pliers etc.
