Yes the shields and 360 modular wheels, but there is something else. I am always amazed at the eyes of a true Ferrari fanatic. Time is ticking ........ It is pretty hard to see, but someone has "stock" eyes. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lol Bingo, Robb has insane stock spotting skills. That is correct, that is a Kia Sephia mirror ....... Which some would never stick on there. But I am getting old and need to see out of the side 2 minutes flat I am impressed. Yes the "tires" and wheels are 360 size.
I love these cars! The factory REALLY got it right straight from the factory - except those damn sticky parts... But we can put up with fixing that because the rest of the car is so right. Saw a dino 246 GT at the shop today as I was getting the GTS through emissions. F355 is really the ICING on the Cake. Can't tell you how amazing our cars are to look at AND drive. I borrowed Barry's 600mm by the way to spot the glass. We'll use that on the track this summer to capture his car. Robb
I knew he used the 600mm, yes yes and more yes ..... While driving today I had this sick "Joker" grin on my face .... The 355 is the ICING on the cake I think I was clinically depressed after I sold my 328 in 2000, so happy I have a "new" therapist ..... The 355.
The Dino was that hot 30 year old you had a crush on when you were a freshman in highschool... The F355 is the amazing woman you are with NOW, that you are old enough to know which way is really up... Robb
The matt black line on the waist also appears to be missing. Hard to tell but the shields look like Yoshi's. The fenders don't look to be recessed. Good call on the writing on the mirror glass.
Nope black line is there hard to see with the angle, and no window tint. Only the mirror and the writing on it, unless I missed something. Actually the FIRST Ferrari I ever remember seeing was a red 246 Dino, thinking junior high or earlier. All I knew at the time was it was a Ferrari and that it was really cool ... That day a dream started, and I feel blessed to own one. The shields were on it when I got it, stick on for sure ...
I will be shopping this spring for the suit. Full face helmet I would guess? Does a full face motorcycle helmet count or does it have to be car specific? Looking forward to seeing you this summer Barry. Robb
No motorcycle helmets, Robb. A Snell SA2010 Approved full face helmet is what you need to get. I hope our paths cross this summer. Barry
Why does the passenger side window on my car state 'objects in mirror are closer than they appear? Wider field of vision
Not perfect but very close, somewhere on here is a thread someone posted of removing the mirror and having it cut and then putting it back on.
Bingo ....wider field of vision. Winner winner chicken dinner sounds better, you can actually SEE most of that blind spot. Instead of thinking it is clear and hearing a horn as you move over .... You can look and think "Oh Sh*t" there is a car there. Spiders have a really BIG blind spot with the top up. And this is a very close fit, in the picture is the Kia mirror installed. Way back a long term 355 owner posted a "10 things every 355 owner should have" Can't find it now, but very helpful and useful. Maybe someone with good search skills, along with some cut and paste skills can find and repost it. Might even make a good "sticky" thread.
I would prefer either of these mirrors: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
