    was the 355 a tad bit faster around the corners? The 993 seemed to have more power though.

    That 993 Turbo was a faster in the corners and lot faster in the straights than the 355. I don't think it was a Turbo S, the normal 993 Turbo its faster than a 355, a 993 Turbo S would leave a 355 in the dust without any trouble, unless the driver didn't have the skills to go with a car of that caliber.
