About to install a Capristo exhaust on a 99 F1 spider - dealer trying to sway me to the standard go-to Tubi. To my ear, Capristo wins hands down.

Anyone know of "Problems" w/ the Capristo on a 355? Excesive heat (tail light lense melting), warning light triggers, heat crackling noises ("tink, tink like Fuches).

    Appreciate any input ASAP.

    Many thanks!

the problems that i know of is that every body will look at you and the car will sound fantastic if that bothers you dont buy one there is only one thing better than a ferrari thats a ferrari with a sports exhaust

i am very interested in knowing this too.

although i have a 360, the heat issues that i have been hearing about
worries me. (installing pipes/capristo level 2 as we speak.)
but the sound is simply too awesome to pass up.

any info on the heat issue is greatly appreciated. thanks!

I'm told that a rear challange grill is a MUST for Capristo exhausts on a 360....

I've got a Capristo-equipped 360 (no Challenge grill) and so far heat has not been an issue, even at a Laguna Seca track day. Our climate here in the Bay Area is quite mild, so I don't know how this configuration would fare in Texas or Arizona, but it's fine here. And the sound is AWESOME. Transformed the car.
