New owner of a 1999 Ferrari 355 F1. Car currently running 360 wheels. Rears are too wide. Going to have them machined as a temporary solution.

Is there an impact to gearing ratios or performance with the larger 360 rims\tires ? - advice greatly appreciated.

Seeking a set of 355 Wheels that might be for sale as longer term solution.

    Thank you !

Welcome aboard. I am sure you will enjoy your new 355. I am not sure about the 360 wheels on it.

Very common issue when using the 360 wheels....all u have to do is have the wheel mounting pad machined.

The 360(oem starfish & 3 piece optional) wheel is the same diameter as a 355....u should not have any issues with gear ratios or performance. You can easily find on this forum that alot of people have used different tire sizes just to get a better look and handling.

Only the 360CS had 19" diam. wheels and I doubt u have those but check anyway.

DO not forget to cut the wheel bolts the same amount (between 10-18mm) or get shorter bolts.

You will want to run OEM sized 355 tires.

I may have my 355 wheels for sale - freshly refinished!
