Continuing from alternator thread. I need the pros to step up here please!!! Since the failure I have replaced battery, rear connector block and a new alternator. However there is no dash function, nor cranking/start. Power is good through the front junction in pass well, good at both fose/relay boards, good to and out of ignition switch. Wiring diags show various harness weld poionts but locating them is a stab in dark. Is there an obvious place I have overlooked? Thanks, Brian www.autocarsportsandclassics.com
This will have to truck to the dealer if I can't get anywhere with this..... All ideas will be carefully considered, I don,t have another car on site for parts subbing. I was wondering about the alarm system, it "beeps" and does the usual lights flash. The main area is to re-establish dash function. Possible that any of the diodes shown in the diagrams are fried from the overvoltage? Brian
