Hi, does any one know how you can tell if a 355 has the fiorano handling pack on or not ? The car in question has red brakes and cross drilled discs(rotars), and that is all I can see. It should also have ungraded ecu, slightly quicker rack, and be slightly lower in stance. Nothing that you can check easily. There is nothing in the history with reference to the pack, but the seller, a ferrari dealer, who comes across as a nice honest chap, and there fore I have no real reason to doubt him, says that the pack is fitted to the car. Before I pay out my money I just want to be sure.

Can you put an aftermarket Fiorano package on an F355 GTB? If so, what exactly does the Fiorano package consist of, and how much would one cost? Also, where would you go about purchasing said package?

As far as I know, the Fiorano cars were only 1999 Spiders. 104 produced. I am not aware of this being an option for any of the other cars as on the 575. There is a dash plaque indicating number. Also, the Fiorano package included some carbon fiber pieces in the interior and factory shields. A lot of the things you mention can be done aftermarket. I would want to see proof (ie documentation).

All of the Fiorano parts were available to someone that wanted to buy them after the sale -- albeit at prices that would make faking the car not exactly worth it. There was a black Fiorano that was recently for sale at a great price that I intially thought might be a fake but after talking with the guy that serviced the car it did have the right rotors, sway bar and steering rack. I could not imagine a reason why someone would go through the trouble to fake it so I think it was a real car. The only missing piece was the Alcantara steering wheel which could not be explained. A Fioriano should have the Alcantara steering wheel.

I may not of explained this correctly. This car is an F1 spyder with a fiorano handling pack fitted from 1998. I have viewed one other car with this pack fitted and that was to a Berlinetta. This handling pack was an opional choice at the time of building, so I am led to believe. It is suppose to have the following: bigger rotas and red callipers, ugraded ECU for suspension settings, lower ride height, and a slightly quicker steering rack. Not all of which I can check to tell if the pack is fitted. Has anyone got this option fitted to there car ?
