After struggling to download/use the WSM I am finally able to navigate it. I am trying to track down a wiring harness problem for my parking lights/turn signals. I can find the parking light switch in the component list, item 03049, but not the components to which it attaches. In the diagram they are labeled 30022, 30023 and 30024. I cannot find those numbers in the component list. Does anyone know what they are or if there is a misprint? Or, maybe they appear in the Italian version?

These are just splices. You probably won't be able to find them unless you start unwrapping the cloth tape. I couldn't find any of mine.

The next thing in line is the passenger compartment fuse/relay panel, although the plugs may be difficult to identify ("J" and "F").

Do you have power on the red/black wire into the switch?

When you turn on the park lights, is the instrument panel "P<" annunciator illuminating?

It looks like the parking lights use the same fuse as the cigarette lighter (Fuse 19). Does this work?

Thank you, that helps a lot. The wires to this switch appear to have been cut off and replaced with different colors. I did find the red/black wire. It has power with the key on but no power when I remove the parking light fuse (not sure if it's #19, but it's labeled parking). Apparently there are supposed to be 4 wires going to this switch. My connector is missing altogether and my switch only has 3 prongs. It looks like one of the prongs has broken off. The switch says Ford on the main part of it and Ferrari on the housing. Do you know if it came on any Fords?

I can find connectors labeled J and F on the component list in the WSM. F is "Rear system connecting block". J is "Dashboard system connecting block". Is that right?

I can find those connectors labeled as such on components 10503 and and 10502, which appear to be for the fuse block. I have my fuse panel out now. Do you know how to find F and J? I can find a black one labeled "E", but can't find letters for the others. There are yellow, white, blue and black plugs.

Curious. The red/black wire should have power on it without the key on. That's the whole idea behind the parking light system (The lights can be switched on with the car unattended). Power comes directly from the battery (via the fuse)

As you say, the parking switch should have 4 wires going to it. As you can see from the diagram, two wires are for the switching (red/black and violet) and two wires are for the switch illumination (black and yellow/red). There is an LED and resistor in series inside the switch which forms the illumination circuit. I guess it's possible to figure out which pin has been broken off by resistance checks.

I see the Ford labelling on your photo, but can't recall if mine are the same (I'd imagine Ferrari would burn the Ford labelling off). It looks like the pins have been interfered with on that end switch. Is that the parking switch?

You can or you can't? 10503 is the luggage compartment fuse/relay block, 10502 is the passenger footwell fuse/relay block.

In the diagram, E is one of the dashboard connectors, F and J will be behind or adjacent to the passenger footwell fuse/relay block. If there are no markings on them, you will have to look at the wire colouring (needle in a haystack stuff).

Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, the wiring diagrams are for Euro cars and we know there are some differences between US and Euro cars. There may be colour changes to wires and wiring routing differences (???) It seems odd that the plug is missing. Do US cars have parking lights?
