Looks like it's missing the right side shock cover which has catalyst/smog info plate on it. M.

With that mileage, I bet the valve guides have been done. Any paper work on it? M.

That year and it being a Berlinetta, among the lightest and fastest out there. For me a lot would
hinge on the last major(when), condition of the headers, and a leakdown. Of course you know that. M.

You're right Mark. It bothers me when they put no details regarding the service history of the car.

Dean, they always leave out the details so you have to talk to them. Sales strategy right!? M.

Sure, but you'd think if any kind of recent service has been performed, they would want to mention it. I think it will attract more buyers.

That's true, if there was recent work they will list that. The other car
does have nice features on it, challenge grill, Tubi and he bothers to use a car cover-that's good. M.

Notice he does not give much details on the major service. He states: " - 15K and 30K service -" ????

By the way, I have no interest in the looks with a Challenge Grill. I will definitely make sure it has the original grill, which I will reinstall.

I think, from face value, it looks to be a better car.
He's a private seller so he will take 3-5k less IMHO.
It's hard to tell too much from pics, but the interior looks
good-dash shrinkage minimal. He cares about servicing ie plugs, transaxle
fluid change, and he does mention the major? M.

Cerritos is in Los Angeles, I'm in San Francsico. Too bad.
If it was closer I would have a look for you.
You know I have heard watch out for LA cars but that's if a dealer
is selling. My car was an LA car, and let's just say it wasn't flawless when I got it! M.

Thanks Mark. Goth is in LA, as well as VTC. But before any moves, the car will have to pass a PPI at the great Eugenio. After that, I am sold for $60K! I like the Xenon headlights.

I wonder why he bought it in November 2007 and is already selling it:

Est. length owned: 11/5/07 - present
    (4 months)

Yeah I have talked to Eugenio(how do you spell that!) on the phone-nice guy.
Very knowledgable. He seems to think that the valve guides on all 95-97 F355 will go-it's just a matter
when. Ouch! That hurts. I would low ball the guy 57-58k, during these economic times he just
    might take it. M.

I would make sure it didn't come from a dealer before. You don't
want a car that was an LA lease or rental in it's former life. Just my
    .02 cents. M.

Thanks Mark. Carfax shows it was a corporate lease vehicle from new till 2007. Not sure what that means.

Panel fit looks poor ie; door air scoop and rear bumper. The picture shown in an earlier post; that isn't a tear the metal trim strip that should be there is missing probably removed when that amp was installed. Very low US serial number IIRC the first US cars were around 100020s this one is ....72. The heads are different on those first cars they were built in '94.

I would be careful. It may not be all bad. I ended up with a prior lease vehicle
that needed valve guides, some valves, a clutch-everything! It cost me an arm and a leg-but it was my own fault.
I chalk it up to experience. I would suspect that this guy probably had to do a major right away like I did
because if you're leasing something there just isn't the same pride of ownership happening-you know what I mean.
In my situation the maintenance was neglected, it may be different with this one? M.
