Assuming it'd been properly maintained and in the USA I'd wager mid/upper 70s for a sale price (the ask would be in the low 80s from a dealer).

6-speed 355 Berlinetta is way more fun than any 360. I speak from experience!

If you ask on the 355 forum people will say give the dealer your 360 plus fifty thousand bucks, but the upside is that the 355 costs nearly nothing to maintain and if you're handy, you can do an engine out belt change yourself in a couple of hours for 100 bucks using nothing more than a Leatherman tool.

However, over at the 360 forum they'll say hand the dealer the keys to your 360 and get fifty thousand bucks from him, but don't spend the money because you'll need it to maintain your 355 in the first year alone. The good news is that your fuel bill will go way down since it will be living at the dealership 90% of the time.

    ;)

A '95 gtb with carbon seats would be the 355 to own imo. Can't do much better than that. In the US with 6k miles and if in perfect condition with fresh service, it would be a $70k-$80k car I'd think.

Not because it's European, but '95 models could be delivered without airbags......possibly the future most wanted 355....has the best looking steering wheel for a 355! Who needs an airbag :) ( or as the Belgians say: bag-that-says-poof!)

I was not doubting him, I was just unclear if this config was his wish or something he found.

That seems high. Make him an offer. If you aren't embarrassed with your offer than it is too high.;)
