355CH Clutch Housing Bearing

    Currently doing a full service on my 355CH and willing to replace the Clutch Housing Bearing.

    It carries an SKF number, unfortunately un-readable.

    The Challenge cars part number is 170409 but unfortunately it´s not obtainable from Ferrari. The road cars had a bearing with PN 136957 (available).

    Anyone out there who could help? Wether with an SKF number, a place which might stock 170409 and informations about the difference between the two bearings?

    Oh the joy of owning old italian race cars... :)

    I've replaced the clutch housing bearing with the available road car bearing (PN 136957) in the past. It will work just fine.

    Bearings are same size. All I can think of is higher temp seals or higher temp grease.

    Its a 5208 2RS and can be bought generically pretty cheaply.

    Excellent, will try the standard road car bearing from SKF then. Clutch housing is drilled, too, and just fitted also a new heat shield. Will post an update after big service has been completed. Really looking forward to drive La Bella again... :)
