During my short ownership months of the F1, I often experienced the cases where F1 transmission automatically switched to N from 1st gear when Stop-and-Go situations. Having the car in the 1st gear for some extended time (seconds/minutes) at a light and/or stop sign , is the F1 transmission programed to automatically change the gear to N? Or is this simply some malfunction of the transmission? Even when the car is in motion at almost-idle speed in bumper-to-bumper tranffic, this problem occasionally happens. Can you hlep me with the issue? Thanks!

You took your foot of the brake pedal, and the transmiision dropped to neutral.

Would agree, that is perhaps you do not have enough pressure on the brake. The computer tells the transmission to go to neutral for safety issues.

That's what I hoped you would tell me. Maybe I need to pay more attention to my righ foot on a brake. Thanks!
