    For the money it's Interstate!

Buy a cigarette lighter adaptor and attach a lead with a 9V battery connector. Attach the 9 V battery to the connector and plug the adaptor into the lighter socket. Now, disconnect the car's battery and settings will be saved.

To access battery you go from right front wheel-well.

Not sure if "settings" above means radio pre-sets, but don't know if that would affect the need to reset the engine ECU or not. I imagine that would still be necessary.

As stated, battery is accessed through right front wheel well. First turn off battery main switch in front trunk, right hand side. After battery change switch main switch back on, restart car, and let it idle for 10-15 mins to reset engine ECU. During that time, don't rev the motor, don't turn anything on, just let it idle. ECU is "re-learing" its operating parameters.

    After that, enjoy!

A standard Group 34 battery will fit, as the cables are long of enough to reach with the terminals on the opposite sides. (34R has "reversed" terminals).

The best Group 34 battery according to Consumer Reports a couple years a back is the Sears Platinum absorbed glass mat battery. No liquid acid to leak out, totally sealed, and comes with a 4 year free replacement warranty, and 880 cold cranking amps. It is a powerhouse battery. AGM batteries tend to last much longer than standard wet cell batteries, and as we all know, the location of the battery in the 355 is not very convenient for checking and topping up the electrolyte, so a maintenance free AGM battery is absolutely the way to go. ;)

Normally $210, they are on sale for $190 right now.

I like to run the best battery I can.

Braille batteries are mucho $$$ but 12 pounds

Also Odyssey makes a great deep cycle.

Both of these have no juice to leak and you can pretty much shoot a bullet through them

The Sears Platinum is made by Odyssey, and as i previously mentioned, is AGM, so it has no fluid to leak. The Braille looks interesting, but at $1300 starting price for a Group 34, no thanks. ;)
