So, I'm interested in a 355. Everything was looking good, then I realized that it was originally a Canadian car, that was imported to the US early in it's life. What effect should have have on the value of the car? It's been registered in California for a couple years and passes smog, so I'm not too concerned about that.

Wouldn't have occurred to me to even ask except that I've seen a Euro-spec 360 at $20k under market price, with the only flaw seeming to be that it was converted to US spec rather than being a US spec car from the start.

I shouldn't expect that it would effect the value. I'm bring up a 1999 355 from the US and the only thing I have to do is turn on the daytime running lights and provide a recall clearance letter to register it.
