    1) When I first got the car, whenever I would wash it, and the brakes would get wet, the brake light would come on in the dash. After a time (an hr or sometimes a day) it would go out. Now I'm told that no codes are being sent by the computer so it's not serious but I'm not sure what is causing this?

    2) Recently my gas gauge became possessed and would be working fine one moment and then read empty the next (with the gas warning light on). At some random point later it would just start working again (and the light would go out). This doesn't seem to correlate to any level of fuel in the tank. Thoughts? Is their any other way to pinpoint this other than dropping the tank and checking the sending unit and or replacing it?

    3) Today after washing the car my ABS light joined the fray and has decided to come on. Again no faults on the computer but yet the light is on....any guesses?

Can't help you much with the brake and ABS lights, but the fuel gauge problem is very common. To avoid it, don't run the fuel level below a quarter tank. It occurs to me every once in awhile. I just shrug it off to typical Italian engineering. :) I always zero my odometer when I fill the tank so I have a good idea of how much I have left if the fuel gauge goes wacko again.
