Any of you local guys thinking about parting with your 355 this year? I am just entering the market and will not be ready to buy until about early summer at the earliest (unless it is a tremendous opportunity!). (Maybe about the time the first 430 lands on our shores.) Looking for a 96-98 Berlinetta, 6 speed, any color but yellow, Valve guides, mainifolds either been replaced OR factored into offering price. Must pass PPI at Boston Motorsports.

    Thanks

Roscoe, I will confirm David’s 355b is an exceptional Ferrari. Perfect showroom condition last time I saw it. Wonderful car!
David, a 360, spider or berlinetta? $12k at Boston Sportscars, pretty hefty service bill! See you on the Cape soon, weather permitting.

john thank you for kind words toward my 355. If I go to a 360 it will be a coupe.Yes 12 grand was a bit of money,a cam belt drive pulley bearing failed.some how water got to it ,I think it had to be condensation ,the first owner would start the car"at least once a week to keep the battery up",not a good thing to do keep the thing off until you are going to DRIVE it.while the engine was out we did all the things that a 10 year old Ferrari should have done, water pump, looked at the oil pump ,replaced the oil pump chain and tensioner, degree the cams, one exhaust cam was off ,replaced the cam belt drive bearings ,all 4 of them and the cam belt pulley drive gear set.hoses and seals, lots of stuffffff.Boston sports car was great I think I was up there every other day to see what was going on .With all this done to the car I am not sure if I will part with it .It is like that old car we all have in our past that left us on the side of the road several times and we kept fixing it for a year only to get sick of the thing breaking down ,,,we dump the f--king thing and ,all but give it away ,,,the new owner drives it for years and it never breaks on him. BECAUSE WE FIXED ALL THE THINGS THAT COULD OF BROKEN!

    Wow David,

That's a beautiful 355b! Sounds like everything is right with it too. Hard to part with. I say you should enjoy it for at least another season.

Looks like the Cape is gonna get socked again :(

-Rey (who is showing pictures of that purdy 355 to the boss)
