I think so......I loved the 308 but honestly in stock form it was way to slow for me.
I didn't have the heart to mod it all because it was so original....

    Congrats Chas!! :)

Man you have owned some cool Ferraris over the last few years.

    I haven't been keeping up.

I bet you miss the Stradale, that really was a beautiful car.

Congrats again and enjoy brother. :)

I actually think the perfect pair of cars is a ferrari 355 and a porsche GT3

    It's a personal taste thing but I can't agree.

Whilst the GT3 is a great car, with fabulous performance, it looks like every other common everyday 911 (a cliché I know but never the less true) , and doesn't strike Me as being anything "that special", as there are just too many 911's in various guises on the road.

The 3*8 GTB/GTS on the other hand is one of the sexiest cars ever made! (Especially without the US spec RSJ bumpers).

It's proportions are perfect and there is no angle that it doesn't look "right" from.

It had to go because it's a slow car these day? - That's a bit like ditching your gorgeous super model girlfriend purely because she can't dance all night long like an 18 year old any more.

    A 3*8 GTB/GTS can cause a trouser crisis with it's looks alone whereas a 911 doesn't even warrant a glance as it's just too common a sight.

    As I say, it's a personal thing, but for Myself, a 3*8 GTB/GTS trumps a 911 every time!

    Wow..loved the super model comparison.

I sold my 930 to get a 512tr. I just never got the Porsche thing. I tried...and tried. The 512tr checked the same "Ferrari buttons" that the Porsche could not.

I have wondered what a high strung 911 like the GT3 might offer, however.

But in the end, it is the ugly cousin to the Ferrari in my opinion.

39 year old super model vs 21 year old is an interesting argument.
