21K? Geez--that sounds rough on the wallet--what did you get for that kind of patience?

New clutch and tires July 2008
All sticky pieces redone by Robbie
Entire interior Leatheriqued TWO times this summer.
New F1 gear indicator light with lifetime warranty from Ricambi
OEM Ferrari Euro CLear Corner lights on the front
    Custom Car cover
    Enzo Key
Ferrari leather pouches for the alarm fobs (one red and one natural)
ALpine $500 head unit with Cd and iPod cord run to the center console
Alpine PDX 4x100 digital amp powering $900 Focal separates in factory locations

All the following performed in June 2009:
    30k service
    New Hill Engineering tensioner bearings
    New Hyper-Flow cats
Rebuilt headers by QV London with 25-year warranty
New Quicksilver SuperSports Exhaust (This exhaust is NOT quiet--especially at 8500RPM!)
New Porterfield brake pads (ZERO brake dust and NO squealing)
All four rear exterior lights and lense covers(the 4 red ones) are brand new and sparkle (all 355 light cases bulge out after years but I have LED lights in the rear now)

I had spent about $1300 on fixing the header leaks before finally just buying new ones during my 30k service. No problems since.

I'm hoping I don't have anymore major costs like these for at least another 10 years. I'll do the 30k service every 4 years, but I hope everything else I replaced lasts the life of the car.

    I love my 355!!! :D

My '95 just turned 40K. Bought it in '01 at 17K. Since then, had to replace the headers, the cooling fans, the belt tensioners/belts, cats, O2 sensors, water pump, airbag module, and shift linkage seal. Also used up 2 sets of Pirelli's and brake pads, and 2 sets of spark plugs and wires. Expecting it will need the dreaded valve job at some point, but not just yet.

Why would you be expecting this? Be careful what you wish for;) Mine hasn't needed one 100K miles as far as i know. I bought mine in 2001 and had all the receipts and bills, there was no mention of valve problems before me. And i have personally put on 70K miles as well. You may have a good un.
