    Hello I am new to fchat. My 6sp 360 grinds going into 3rd gear while driving. Sometimes if you are driving slow and press the clutch pedal down hard it will not grind. Any thought is this is shift linkage issue or trans issue? Thanks.

    My car also does this but very occassionally. Slips into third fine just now and again hear a little crunch at the same time. I was quite worried but some googling found it wasn't that rare an issue and usually happens in second or fifth if i remember correctly. Some of the more mechanically minded people might be able to offer a solution but I just take my time when going into third and never force it into any gear. I do only find it happens at low speeds and I generally skip second gear when driving normally. First to third to sixth, which it might be related to.
