360/430 interior better looking than 458? Or is it just me.

    Let's hear some opinions.

Personally I prefer the interior of the 360/460 than the 458. The interior of 458 lacks "the-exotic-feel" in my opinion.

IMHO 458 looks better but seeing it in person will be the best point of judgment

I agree for now, but once I see it in person, I will probably like the new style.

I prefer the F430 steering wheel. Other than that I prefer the interior of the 458 to those of the 360 or F430.

I won't know until I get my butt in that seat.
I have to admit though,I still think the Scud has the best interior (Alcantara ,not leather) of all the cars, minimalistic and perfect.

I love getting rid of the center stack and making it more driver oriented. The controls on the wheel speak directly to the driver being in control.

What I don't like are the AC ducts (rather fussy) and the silver color of the wheel and interior parts. To me, it looks cheap but in person it may look better.

The 458 is a much better looking interior than the F430. It's built around the driver and to me, that's what it's all about in a car like this.

I love the interior. Just a question tho. Is the speedo digital? Cos, i can only see the RPM counter, not the speed.

They're just following the rules of Italian driving:

The first rule is: what's behind you is not important.

The second rule is: no one cares what the speed is when the tach hits the limiter.

I think the contrary. I feel the 360 interior is too bland, and the 430 is just a facelift of it. Case of point : the radio.

The 458's is so modern and proper for a true modern era supercar.

Having sat in the 458 I have to say that it's interior is a major leap forward from the dated 430 IMHO. The silver dash trim looks a lot better in real life than the pictures convey (the whole car does in fact). It's not a bright silver but more of a grey metallic. The quality of all the fittings is simply in another league to the 430. I should imagine that carbon fibre will be offered as an alternative trim but will no doubt cost a lot of $ss. The new steering wheel looks and feels great and the grouping of lights, wipers, turn signals etc looks good when you see it.

I'm pretty sure that a lot of people who are unsure of the design - both interior and exterior - will love the car when they get to see it in person. Photographs don't seem to capture a lot of the subtle design features on this car which the human eye picks up in 3D. Things like the the vents above the front wheel and around the lights which have provoked a lot of debate just look right when you stand back and take in the design of the whole car. Similarly the extended "winglet" skirt that runs the full length of the side of the car isn't as noticeable as it has been in some of the still shots and is fairly discreet.

I think that one of the problems is the turning lights buttons.I think it will be hard to use it when the wheel is turned. And I see that the Hand-brake buttons is hided quite strange...

I couldn't say for sure. It certainly felt good quality though.
