360 6 speed owners....think im going crazy, help!

    Picked up a factory gated 6 speed 360. The day or should i say night it was delivered i noticed that the guage lights didnt work. Common problem i have read, so i immediately pulled the gauges and sent it out for repair. Got it back today and I think I'm losing my mind cuz I would swear that it did not have the F1 display in the tach when I sent it out. Can someone please either confirm that I should not have it being a factory gated car or confirm that I was just too excited over the new car and my mind is playing tricks on me. Thanks..

    All of them have the lens in the middle...they just don't do anything on the 6 speed.

    nope someone is playing a trick on you. it wasn't there when you sent it out. someone sent you someone else's cluster. i can't believe they did that!!!

    When you turn on ignition, it will say check ok. So there is a function.

    That is not the F1 display, that is the display on the bottom. The F1 display shows what gear you are in, it's the small one in the speedo.

    The blank for the F1 gear display is present in 360 6-speeds. I owned one for ~13 years and can confirm.

    I always thought it would be cool to invent some sort of gizmo that mounted near the block under the shift gate with sensors that would allow the F1 display to tell you what gear you were in with the 6-speed.
