The Spider air intake has a bunch of baffles which I believe restrict air flow. I think the CS intake is completely closed...

A while ago I had seen somebody do a mod and swap the CS intake to the 360 the question is -- could this cause a CEL? We did this and have a CEL that may or may not be related...

Read the code, it's the only way to know for sure. Once we know what it's coming up with we can go from there

Baffles do not restrict airflow. They are there to quiet the airflow.

here's my thought, may not be right.

you might have the same maf sensor element on CS intake and modena intake.

but the diameter of the intake is different . CS is larger.

the maf samples the density of the air and look up the ecu and calculated what exactly the amount is coming through that particular diameter.

now you got a bigger diameter intake, so the amount of "actual" air sucked in is just wrong!

So your combustion won't be what it was supposed to be., this may or may not be triggering a CEL, depending on how severe it is.

p1339 seems to be related to LH timing. i don't think that's related to maf
