Just got a beautiful 2002 360, what a car! My red alarm light flashes OK when armed, and goes out when unarming with the button. But is stays on when the car is running. Looking through earlier postings this seems to be typical of the battery in the siren unit. I do not hear the 4 chirps which some people report, and so far no problems starting the car.
Some posts refer to simply unplugging the siren unit - how do I get access to it? Does the immobilizer still work OK if I do this?
If I buy a replacement unit does this mean I have to change the alarm pin number or anything? I don't know what the pin is.
thanks for any advice for this new Ferrari owner!
    Mike
