Sometimes I lock my 360 and unlock it while in the garage. If I don't open a door or start it, about 5 min. later it locks itself. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's normal behaviour. I'd have to double check on the 360, but I have other cars that definitely do it.

    Yes, that's normal behavior.

I owned my 360 Spider for 2 years and my F430 Spider now for a year and a half and it's never happened to me.

I don't think either car has that feature from the factory.

Only when you don't have a key on the ignition. I hope that Ferrari gave the engineer a raise on this one.

Right below the highlighted section, it says auto arm does not work on centralized door locking. Auto arm only applies to the alarm arming itself if you forget to do it after disarming and not opening the door or something (hood sensor, etc) does not allow arming. In the latter case, the alarm chirps before auto locking.

And right above the highlighted section, it says : "To prevent the possibility of leaving the car OPEN/disarmed involuntarily ... "
Agreed, this is a bit misleading but that's exactly how my 360 was acting.

Thanks for all the great info but correct me if Im wrong, the OP, Post number 1 said he's system is doing an Automatic Door Locking feature, not auto alarm arming.

In that situation, when the system automatically re-arms the alarm, it also locks the doors. The manual is wrong.
