Does anyone know where the switch for the backup lights is located on a 6 speed manual 360 ?

    Regards,

It appears to be below the shift assembly and to the rear of it in the car. It's drawing #26 and the P/N is 115980.

It is referred to as a "push-button" switch.

If you can't read this, I can e-mail it to you.

I think you have it :). Here's a blow-up of that section that if it helps any. Item #26 would be my guess also. It appears to be forward of the stick shift / ball based on the photo and arrow pointing to the front of the car.

    Good work on that, Ray.

I did not have time to enlarge that area when I posted the drawing.

I believe that #26 is the item.

    Thanks.

I was having a computer meltdown and couldn't get my pdf 360 manual's to fire up.

Got the switch out. It was N/G. Will hopefully get the new one tomorrow.

As usual, you guys are great !

    Regards,

    Stew

What's interesting about this switch is that it's proper function is critical to adding Navigation to the car.

It wires to the radio plug as well where the Nav connects.

So, if you have Nav check your B/U lights fans.
