So I decided to give my 360 a quick basic service and oil change yesterday & thought it might be useful to do a writeup for reference material. Im not an expert and this is the first basic service I have done on the car so feel free to correct any mistakes I make or add any tips/ tricks to make it easier in future.

    First you will need the correct ingredients;

I purchased my 360 service kit directly from www.superformance.co.uk for the sum of £72.50 & added in a new style uprated pollen filter @ £34.95

I had already got a new set of plugs for a misfire issue I worked on last week.

First you will need to make sure the engin eoil is nice and warm, I ran the car on idle for a good 15 mins until fans were kicking in and out.

Next you need to get under the car to gain access to the sump plugs (2 of) , fortunatly (or unfortunatly for my clutch) my driveway has a decent slope, so I just jack the rear end up until its level, this gives me just enough space to work under the car. Remember to wedge the front wheels if you do it this way !!!

Note: im not going to remove the pipe to the oil radiator or clean the mesh filter on right side of gearbox housing as this was done less than a year ago on my car. To do this you would at this stage need to remove the rear undertray.

    Ok now the dirty bit.

we are now going to remove the sump plugs, there are two (A & B) of these that need to be removed for the oil service.

with this method Ferrari kindly have placed access holes in the 360 undertray so you dont need to remove it, just the rubber gromets instead.

HOWEVER this was not sufficent enough to catch all the oil quickly, next time I will use a bucket of open tray.

Once the rear B plug is drained, I proceeded to Plug A

To remove Sump Plug A you will need a 12mm Hex

Again I then completely drained all the oil from here also, the nice warm oil drains very quickly ... alot quicker than I had expected, hence theoil mess now on my driveway :O)

Next step is to remove and replace the oil filter.

To make life easy for myself I purchased the Hill Engineering removal tool it was about £45 but i figured I would be using it a few times so worth it and saves soo much time.

Tool simply clamps onto the end of the oil filter and using a socket wrench you just unscrew it

With the oil filter removed I also wanted to replace my oil sender unit as have been getting erratic readings as symptom of dodgy unit so again order one up with my service kit ... you can see it here in the pic sits just below the (now removed) oil filter.

nice new unit ready for install ... simply screws into place. Note access for the spanner to remove (even with the oil filter removed) is limited and not easy

After changing my sender unit I then fitted the new oil filter ... again standard Ferrari recommendation filter was used (as per pic).

NOTE: Before fitting apply a tiny amount of engine oil around the rubber lip seal of the filter.

Then using the Hill tool again I screwed the new unit in place.

Right with the oil refilled and levels checked its on to the next items that need changing.

First the Pollen Filter, this is located under the front hood just by the windscreen wipers.

Very easy they just pull in and out hot swap items.

I was quite suprised how dirty my old filter was, not exactly sure when it was last changed ???

    Next its the 'Air Filters'

These are located in the two airboxes are the rear of the rear of the engine bay. To remove the airbox covers its simply 4 flat head screws on each airbox and depending if you have a modena/spider or a CS with Carbon boxes the 'funnel' front end of each airbox connect to the MAFS with either spiring clips (Modena/Spider) or 2 bolts (Stradale)

Once the covers are removed the filters just lift in and out, make sure the new ones are seated nicely all the way around the rim and then refit the airbox covers.

A good and timely post - I'm whipping my disaerator off this weekend to refurbish it so will drop the oil at the same time.

Was the sender for oil pressure or temperature? Can you post the part # for ref please?
