Hey boys 348 owner here interested in a 360, I keep getting conflicting reports of the timing belt, is it an engine out or can it be performed engine in.

Also quick rundown on 360 famous headaches or upgrades to look for. I have been doing some homework but the search function on FC is mediocre at best ;).

    Thanks

Ps will have more questions in near future I'm sure :)

It can be (and usually is) done with the engine in, with the seats and the bulkhead panel removed.

The 360 is one of the most "pain-free" Ferraris to own. Most of the problems with the 360 center around the F1 system and clutch. If you want to avoid them, buy a 6-speed manual car.

    Engine in Roberto! :D:D

Please tell me you're keeping Dolce?:eek:

Adding a 360 to your garage would be VERY nice. :D:D

Make sure it hass the usual updates, variators/software if you get an F1. :D:D

They are pretty darn reliable cars! Would love to own a CS myself. :D:D

Maybe one day when they arent AU $330K. :(:(

In brother, that sticky post at the top of the 360/430 has answered most of my questions in the last year or so. Give it a try, and good luck on your purchase! I love mine.

Excellent good to know the I am a driver and not a fan of the F1 but if the right model presents itself never say never lol

Hey Bro as is now I am in looking phase only, but I believe I would sell Dolce to make room for an upgrade sad as I would be to sell her especially since she is running so incredibly well now:(.

You don't need to remove the seats, just move them forward gives you enough room.

And don't forget to put the seat covers so you can protect the leather for any acccidents.

Have you lost your damn mind??:eek:

Fairy nuff mate. She is a beautiful machine and I bet you will regret selling her. ;);)

Good luck with the search/look mate. :):)

I understand you dont have to remove them, but its only 4 bolts on each seat so I would probably remove them so I wouldnt have any 'accidents' and to give me more room. :D:D

Working between both seats moved and tilted forwards would annoy me. :D:D

There's loads of room with the seats forward. Best to disconnect the seat belts and get them out of the way. Getting in to the belts takes longer than changing them out.
