    Did my 1st track day last week in the 360 at Brands Hatch (UK) fantastic fun, only 2 concerns, firstly cronic understeer in the tight corners (Druids and coming onto clearways) car is running Michelin Pilot Sports and it really pushes the front badly in these corners. And then the brakes, man what a laod of crap, pacing againts my friends boxter S he could brake at least 10 meters later into all corners, after 4 laps there is no feel and fade is very bad. My ex 348 challenge had amazing brakes, the 360 is poor on a good day.

    I read about putting in competition pads but also hear that they squeak a lot during normal use, so I guess my questions is, do I change pads and brake fluid or just calipers and rotors for some AP racing or such goods, and would Pirelli Rosso give less understeer as the pilots are very heavily grooved.

    Cmon track day addicts, give me some insight.

    PS, I could hand onto a Murci down the short Brands straight no problem (not vouching for how had he was pushing it)

    Not knowing how many miles you've got on the OEM pads, sounds like you may have a case of brake fluid problem than pads. I have replaced my OEM pads after a little over 10k and three or four track days with Pagid RS4-2 and they have a fantastic bite. But the original pads worked well with high performance fluid with no fade on the track. Pagids are ready to brake when you drive off from garage but they do operate a bit at higher temp and of course they squeek. They are really bad when you first put them on but get better progressively.

    I would contact Matt at Meridian Automotive in Los Angeles, 888-245-2900. Along with pad and fluid options I believe they have three Brembo kits available for the 360 including the LeMans GTR Kit.

    I am a Brembo dealer as well as Matt is. The Big Brembo kit is one of the best setups I have seen and driven with. We have done a similar kit on a F355 and it was unbelivable. If you spend a lot of time on the track, look into these kits.

    360 brake improvements:

    1. New front rubber, the 215 is narrow. If I recall the 360 challange size is a 225 front? Or is it 235?

    2. SS lines

    3. Better pad

    4. better fluid

    Actually forget my last post, go get a big brake kit, and when you do, I will buy your 360 brake setup from you to use on my 328. Please Please! :)
